Neymar said in an on-pitch interview: “To be honest, no, everything is not fine (regarding the pain), but the people who should know about the injury are the doctors, me and the technical staff. It is clear that they will never harm my career, and they are always looking for what is best for me. I am very happy with today’s match and very happy with the goal.”
When asked about entering the field, the star underwent surgery. Neymar said in an on-field interview: “In the end, I had to decide to enter and I decided to enter the field.”
The goal came in the 25th minute of the first half. In a quick counterattack, Guilherme shot from the right and found Neymar free from the left. Facing five sports markers, the striker took responsibility, skilfully dribbled past the mark and finished the ball in the corner without any chance for the goalkeeper.
