Madrid, November 29 (European Press) –
Poland’s Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, asked NATO to adopt a common front away from “selfish interests” in order to “protect the West” from the Russian threat, in a new message consistent with the tone of concern that characterized his statements in recent hours.
“I would like to remind our allies that NATO was created to defend the West against Soviet aggression, that is, against Russia,” Tusk said on his account on the social media network
“I hope nothing will change,” added the Polish Prime Minister, who last Friday spoke of an ominous panorama in the midst of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s visit to Russia, as well as the “chaos” unleashed by the latest US peace plan in Ukraine, as well as the recent scandal that caused the resignation of the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, Andriy Ermak.
“Orban visits Putin. Chaos in negotiations over Vitkov’s plan and a political crisis in Kiev. A disastrous combination,” Tusk said on Friday.
