In the speed race, the winner was Australian Oscar Piastri (McLaren), who dominated from start to finish and raised the distance to 22 points with the championship leader, the Briton Lando Norris (McLaren). In turn, Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) ranked fourth, 25 points behind the leader.
The activity at the Qatar Grand Prix will last for only a few hours, as qualifying for the main race begins at 3:00 pm. (Argentina time).
