This Tuesday (11), e-commerce platforms and stores will hold a discount festival to take advantage of the typical date in China known as Discount Day. Companies like AliExpress, TikTok, Mercado Livre, Casas Bahia, and Amazon have prepared different strategies to attract customers.
AliExpress, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group, is betting on group purchases using the Group Buy tool. In this tool, a group of people have to come together to make a minimum number of buyers and get bigger discounts.
AliExpress will also offer free shipping and cashback (partial refund in the form of credit) of up to 20% on partner websites and will launch “Marcas+,” a premium channel for brands like Xiaomi and Lenovo.
Tik Tok store
Tik Tok store – The commerce platform integrated with the video app TikTok – will debut on 11/11 with live streaming. The app offers discounts of up to 70%, and combines TikTok values with the values of stores and brands.
To participate in the campaign, retailers must meet certain requirements set by the platform, which include stock assessment for the period and the ability to meet delivery deadlines. Products must also be advertised at the lowest price in the last 30 days.
Free market
Mercado Livre will invest R$ 30 million in vouchers – discount codes are applied at the time of purchase.
The campaign will offer discounts of up to 70% in categories such as fashion, beauty, technology, sports and supermarkets.
Amazon
Amazon Prime members in Brazil will have access to exclusive offers on products in categories such as cosmetics, books, kitchen and home appliances. Discounts will be issued at double times while stocks last, such as 9:09 AM, 10:10 AM, 11:11 AM, etc.
The store will also offer tiered discounts of up to 80% on eight units with products worth up to R $ 1 and free shipping for Prime subscribers, see the participating categories:

Throughout November, Shopee is offering double the total value of discount coupons compared to the previous year and will feature two major campaigns: 11/11 and Black Friday.
On 11/11, there will be R$20 million in discount coupons and products at the “best price of the year”. On Black Friday, users will receive R$16 million worth of discount coupons, including R$200 worth of discount coupons in official stores. Consumers will also receive additional free shipping vouchers for purchases over R$10.
Shein
Shane says the promotions started in October and ramped up on 11/11.
The retailer is running a staggered sale that promises up to 85% off prices on more than 600,000 items, with free shipping some weeks in November.
The offers will focus on women’s and men’s fashion categories, but consumers will also find discounts distributed in other areas such as beauty products, household appliances and electronics.
Casas Bahia
Casas Bahia will offer the products in 11 installments with no interest on the card and an 11% discount on the booklet. During November, the company will issue about R$1.2 billion of credit, an increase of 20% compared to last year. In some offers, payment may begin in 2026, in installments of up to 24 installments or up to 30 installments using the network card.
