The largest Christmas tree in São Paulo was opened on Saturday 29 at Ibirapuera Parkin the southern region. It is 57 meters high, 18.5 meters in diameter, and contains more than 330,000 LED lights.

Second place went to the Christmas statue in Parque Villa Lobos in the western region, which is 55 meters tall and contains 288,000 points of light.

According to organizers, more than 3 million people visited the park last year, a number that is expected to be repeated in 2025.

The public will also be able to visit the interior of the tree. The park provides a parallel program of environmental and cultural education activities, special sessions in the planetarium, and musical performances.

The presence of business partners

Since taking over as Urbia franchisee, Ibirapuera has increased the number of business partners, which is reflected in the attractions it sponsors.

This year, the tree will carry the green and yellow colors of sponsor Keeta, the delivery platform that arrived in Brazil this year. The Christmas Village, designed in the shape of a gift box as Santa Claus’ home, is promoted by Natura. Disney+ will be a Christmas associate sponsor.
