The Stock Car Sprint held on Saturday (29), at the Autodrómo Internacional Nelson Piquet, in Brasilia, was marked not only by the return of the class to the capital, but also by the chaos and accidents that caused the race to be held, for the most part, under the yellow flag.

After qualifying 15th, Crown Racing and Texaco driver Arthur List made a recovery and finished second in the Sprint, moving him into third place in the Drivers’ Championship with 651 points.

Only in his second year in this category, the 24-year-old from Rio Grande do Sul has shown that his marriage with the new team is very well established. In an exclusive statement to Parabólica, the young pilot praised the work accomplished so far:

“Well, very happy with second place in this race here in Brasilia, when the Autodromo reopens. Very happy with our performance throughout this year. So far, we have always been very competitive in all stages and it definitely shows, getting third place in the championship, it’s a great job from the whole team, not just me, but all the mechanics, engineers, sponsors and everyone who supports.”

Speaking about reaching third place in the championship, List did not hide that he is still thinking about the title, but he actually feels happy to be among the best:

“So the goal is clear, which is to fight for this championship until the end, but just to be among the three, among the five, is definitely something that I have always worked for and always strived for. So I am very happy and honored to be able to be in this position,” he concluded.

The penultimate main race of the 2025 season takes place on Sunday (30) from 3:30 p.m., and is broadcast on the category’s official YouTube website, as well as the Band/Bandsports and SporTV channels. The Stock Car Championship then concludes on December 12-13 with the Super Final in Interlagos.
