After three consecutive defeats, Cisse Bauru won again. Anderson Rodriguez’s team defeated Juiz de Fora, on Saturday evening (29/11), at the Paulo Scaf Gym, in Bauru (SP), three sets to one – with splits of 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-18 – and remains in seventh place in the Men’s Volleyball Super League 2o25/26 with 9 points. Cisse Bauru entered the field under pressure after Azulim Monte Carmelo’s victory over Joinville, in the opening of today’s round, a result that made the Sao Paulo team fall to eighth place. With the victory over Juiz de Fora, Cisse regained his position. Juiz de Fora remains in last place with two points.

Setter Mateus Bender, who entered the match in place of player Juan and was important for Sesi Bauru’s turnaround, was named best player on the field and won the VivaVôlei Cup.

Central Barreto and Marcos were the top scorers in the match with 18 points.

In the next round, Juiz de Fora will face Itambi Minas, Wednesday (12/3), in Juiz de Fora (MG). On the same day, Sissi Bauru catches Azulim Monte Carmelo at 6:30pm away from home.
