Fran Garagarza, sporting director of RCD Espanyol, suffered a heart attack this Tuesday morning and is admitted to the cardiological Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Hospital Sant Pau, in Barcelona, according to the blue and white club. Garagarza, 56, suffered an acute myocardial infarction and is “stable in serious condition”, according to Espanyol. Given the situation and circumstances, the club also informs that Jofre Carreras’ press conference scheduled after training this Wednesday morning has been cancelled.
