With Rosalía, a month of VIP visits to the Boca Stadium ended

Paolo Sorrentino, the Italian director of The Hand of God, gave a free masterclass yesterday at the Teatro San Martin, before the screening of the aforementioned film. His passion for Maradona is well known, and he wears a ring with Diego’s face on his hand as the only accessory. Of course, he was visiting La Bombonera on Friday and on the tour that almost every celebrity takes, Sorrentino was allowed to see Maradona’s trunk.

Rosalía was also one of the last people to visit the legendary Zenez Stadium during her time in Buenos Aires to promote her already successful new album: Lux. In her case, in that tour with photos, video and T-shirt, she appeared accompanied by Trueno, a young member of Urban Trap, originally from La Boca and who registered her famous little office in the courtyard of a colorful tenement in her neighborhood.

Hosts. Perhaps like no other month in 2025, La Bombonera in November saw a record number of famous visitors. Specifically, Liam Gallagher, from Oasis, who follows, for a change, the logic of many stars who perform at River but was photographed at Boca Stadium with a Zenez jacket. It was followed by Johnny Depp, hosted by Romain Riquelme himself. Then Mexican Marco Antonio Solis, who did not perform at River, but in the huge space adjacent to Atlanta Stadium, in the Villa Crespo neighborhood.

Authoritarians don’t like this

The practice of professional and critical journalism is an essential pillar of democracy. This is why it bothers those who believe they are the bearers of the truth.

Lick them. Another figure who wanted to find out first-hand how true the myth of “Boca’s unparalleled fans” was Peter Lamelas, the new US ambassador to Argentina. As happens to almost everyone, the myth becomes reality. Lamelas – the catchy nickname of the stadium song – watched the Zinezi fans in full splendor in the classic match in which Boca beat River by 2 goals to 0.
