Madrid, November 30 (European Press) –
The Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that Israel’s attack on the Palestinian enclave on October 7, 2023 killed more than 70,000 people and injured nearly 171,000.
The attack, which began in response to a Palestinian militia attack against Israel, which left about 1,200 people dead, killed 70,103 people and injured 170,985 others.
In its report issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Health, affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Authority Hamas, indicated the death of two more people during the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli attacks, in addition to another death who was found under the rubble of previous attacks.
The two dead were minors who were martyred last Saturday in an Israeli bombing in the vicinity of the city of Khan Yunis in Gaza. The Israeli army acknowledged the attack but claimed that Al-Shabaab had crossed the so-called “yellow line” that marks their current locations amid the fragile ceasefire reached on October 10.
The Ministry of Health denounces that the new Israeli operations, since that date, have caused the death of 356 people and the injury of 908 others in the Gaza Strip.
