She bought Arminda as a child and did the same for her grandson, Raul
Raoul has no idea that his grandmother bought it!
The fruit does not fall far from the tree, meaning that children possess everything necessary to be equal to their parents in behavior, values, and attitudes. Josefa Milo (Arlette Sallis) knows this well, and although she pretends to be at odds now that she’s older, she’s never surprised by the attitudes of Arminda (Grazi Massafera), her only daughter.
The villain prepares and the mother is content to always make superficial comments. That’s because she’s not a flower that can be smelled either, and we soon learn that Josefa is, in fact, not the sweet old lady that Gerlos (Sophie Charlotte) adores!
Child trafficking
Child trafficking is an ancient practice that brings in a lot of money. The underground adoption network ensures that parents who are unable to have their own children and do not want to wait to adopt, get the child of their dreams and, in return, pay a large sum for it. Mothers give their children to people who want to buy a child, and whoever is on top of these negotiations wins.
Josefa realized this very early, when she wanted to get pregnant but couldn’t. Then she looked for a woman who asked for a lot of money to give her a newborn boy with the characteristics that Josefa wanted. A few days later, he received Arminda. Josefa was happy with her “gift,” but seeing a source of wealth, she joined in the scheme in a dirty way. Since then, she has become a child trafficking leader.
After Arminda, many others came…
And Josefa earned more and more money. She became respected in the underworld, gathered an equally ruthless team, and distributed the children to wealthy people in São Paulo. Meanwhile, Arminda has grown up, becoming a cold and sensitive woman and, following the proverb, also a criminal. Josefa saw that she could trust her daughter, so she opened her doors to the young woman and told her the details of the work.
There Arminda repeated her mother’s gesture from the past: it was time to have a child, but in her case, she did not want to get pregnant. Josefa pulled some strings and got a nasty blonde babe.
Buy ral
Married to Rogerio (Eduardo Moscovis), Arminda realizes that she will only save her marriage if she gives her husband a child. Josefa was quick and bought off Raul (Paulo Mendes). There, she got the help of Samira (Fernanda Vasconcelos), the cook, who was a very ambitious young woman. The girl handed Raul over to Josefa, but shortly afterwards demanded to know about her son. That’s right, Samira is Raul’s mother, but since she had no support from the child’s father, she sold the child to be able to support herself financially.
However, the mother’s love spoke louder and she went after her son. He threatened to tell everything to the police if he did not know the whereabouts of the newborn. To silence the girl, Josefa arranged for her and got a job at the Veret Foundation. There, she can closely follow Raoul’s growth.
Today, Samira hides many secrets and is involved until the last strand of her hair in criminal activity. Despite her criminal aptitude, the expressive green-eyed woman took up more space than Josefa wanted, potentially presenting too great a risk to the drug dealer.
