Flamengo became champions of the 2025 Libertadores on Saturday (29/11), with a header from Capital Enicial. In the stands, the red and black fans sang a parody of the Primeiros Erros song, praising the club’s titles.
Words starting with “in December ’81” became a rage at Rio’s matches.

The parody was created in 2011, but became popular in 2019, when Flamengo won their third Libertadores title, and became a real fan anthem.
The lyrics were created by administrative assistant Eric Barcelero, among a group of flamenco fans in the now-extinct Orkut.
The original version, by Capital Inicial, was composed by Kiko Zambianchi and has a melancholy origin, reflecting the artist’s dark period in the 1980s.
When she gained space in the stands, in the new version, she gained a lively rhythm and became a mascot for Flamengo.
