On Monday, December 1, the Romanian community in Toledo celebrates Romania’s National Day, which commemorates the Great Union of 1918, a historical moment that strengthened the country’s unity and identity.

Balan reiterated FIADDIE’s commitment to strengthening the rights of Romanians in the diaspora, ensuring public services, quality education, healthcare and opportunities for prosperity, regardless of where they live. It also calls on the political class to act responsibly and with balance to build a strong state for the future.
The President concludes with a message of unity and pride for all Romanians: “Happy Christmas, Romania! Happy Christmas to Romanians in Romania and in the diaspora! Happy Christmas to Romanians in Romania and in the diaspora!”
