The checkpoints use portable accelerometers and were determined based on technical studies conducted by EPTC. The published list includes roads and streets with high traffic, which were selected based on road safety standards.

Among the routes spotted are Avenida Assis Brasil, Avenida Pinto Gonçalves, Avenida Ipiranga, Avenida Padre Cacique, Avenida Sertorio and Rua Pereira Franco, with a total of 19 locations. Operations will take place at different times to expand coverage.

EPTC advises drivers to respect speed limits and remembers that the inspection sites on the agency’s website are updated with technical information that supports the selection of points.
