Vitoria gained great momentum in its fight against relegation by defeating Mirasol 2-0, on Saturday (30), at Paradão Stadium, in the 36th round of the Brazilian League. Defender Lucas Halter opened the scoring, and Matteusinho closed the scoring with a penalty kick.
After the match, coach Jair Ventura celebrated the result, emphasizing the team’s dedication and appreciating the energy and support from the stands.

Gayer also commented on the table scenario and the importance of the results to keep Vitoria relying only on themselves.
