According to reports, some fans began throwing objects at police, who responded with tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the crowd. Two people required medical care and were taken to the Souza Aguiar Municipal Hospital. There are reports of injuries at the scene.

Mobilization at the center had begun hours earlier, with a large crowd awaiting the arrival of the red and black delegation. The gathering was held at Circuito Preta Gil, a traditional celebration point named in honor of the artist and club fan who passed away this year.

The parade was postponed, but the arrival of the players shortly after 1pm intensified the flow of fans along the road between Marco I Street and President Antonio Carlos Street.
