The Cali Mayor’s Office officially presented details of the 2025 Christmas lighting as part of the launch of the “Cali, Branch of Christmas” strategy, an initiative that integrates the natural wealth and Christmas traditions of Valle del Cauca with technological and artistic innovation.

The long-awaited lighting begins on Sunday, December 7 and will be available until the first week of January. With the aim of providing an immersive experience that promotes reconciliation among citizens and economic revitalization in the capital of Valle del Cauca. Director of the Special Administrative Unit for Public Services, Diego Howe, explained that the main inspiration for the lighting is “the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus, but reinterpreted with a local perspective. Through a magical journey, the holy couple travels through different landscapes of Valle del Cauca.”
