Before turning her life around, Ivy Minna went through what she herself describes as a “triple journey.” She worked as a family court attorney, then in administrative positions, and when she arrived home she took on all responsibilities for the children, pets, and household routine.
“It’s been very stressful, with ridiculous demands at work and another marathon waiting for me when I get home,” he tells GLOBO. She also says that she has lived with biased comments because of her age, hearing phrases such as “Go wash the dishes” or “Go take care of your grandson,” but she stresses that she has learned to filter out these criticisms. “I don’t dwell on it. I focus on the positives,” Ivey says.

As her visibility increased, Ivy began receiving messages from women in her age group who were curious about her self-care routine and the way she maintains her appearance. “They ask me how I take care of myself, which doctor did something for me, and if I’ve had any surgery,” he says.
Ivy explains that she never had the financial means for expensive treatments and that she always bet on what was at hand. “I took care of myself as much as I could. With my young children, I couldn’t go to the gym, so I exercised at home, took care of my diet and used simple creams, the cheapest ones. They work too,” he says. For her, the basis of everything is emotional: “The main thing is the mind. A calm mind changes everything. Self-respect comes from within.

When Ivy recalls her previous routine, she stresses that fatigue was crucial in changing it. “The goals were ridiculous, they always wanted more. I had reached my limit,” he says. Outside of work hours, there was a series of household and family tasks: “It was a triple shift that never ended.” According to her, the transitional period brought comfort and organization. “This change brought me more peace and allowed me to adjust my life in a way that I had not been able to achieve before,” he notes.
Today, Ivy sees this transition as a personal decision that has restored her independence and well-being. The key, she says, was allowing herself to break out of a routine that no longer reflected her identity. “We can change our course at any stage of life, without having to limit ourselves to what is expected of us,” points out the content creator, concluding: “There is no age to start over.”
