Lassai and Togo are the biggest bets

Rio de Janeiro chef Rafa Costa e Silva, of Lassai, has everything he can do to rise to the occasion and win the 50 Best Restaurants in Latin America award, the 13th edition of the award, in Antigua, Guatemala on 12/02. In the 2024 edition, in which first place went to Argentine Don Julio, who came from Buenos Aires, it was Brazilian Rafa Costa e Silva who occupied the best position in the standings, as he finished in seventh place. Among the Brazilians, the bets are, in addition to Lassai, Togo, São Paulo-based, by Chef Ivan Ralston (16th place in the last edition which should rise), Evvy, by Chef Luiz Felipe Sousa (20th place); Nelita, by Chef Tarsila Magalhíaes (ranked 26th in the latest edition), Rio de Janeiro-based Oteque (ranked 21st, in the latest edition) and Casa do Porco (15th).
