BC launches anti-fraud service today | finance

The event will be held at the BC Headquarters building in Brasilia with the participation of the Directorate of Citizenship and Conduct Surveillance, Isabella Correa, and the Head of the Corporate Service Department, Carlos Eduardo Gomez.

Last May, the Central Bank announced a service to prevent the opening of fraudulent accounts, for example, with false identities, or the inclusion of a new holder in joint accounts. Citizens can inform the financial system, through the login area on the Central Bank’s website, that they do not wish to open new accounts. At the time, the service did not have a name and was expected to begin offering in December.
