An illegal fireworks booth exploded in Belford Roxo, in Baixada Fluminense, on Saturday morning (29/11), causing panic among pedestrians and drivers passing through the area. Images record the moment the fire breaks out, and seconds later, a series of explosions take over the area.

The facility was soon covered in a thick cloud of smoke until the fire intensified and the building exploded violently.

The fire department reported that it was contacted, but when it arrived at the scene, it found only remaining pockets of flame and marks on the ground left by the explosion.
