Now at Flamengo, Danilo and Alex Sandro have spent most of their careers together and have played as a duo for four other clubs, as well as the Brazilian national team. The Copa Libertadores, won on Saturday (29/11), is the eleventh title for the defenders as a duo.
With Santos, they won the Paulista and Libertadores championships, both in 2011. With Porto, the full-backs and defenders won two Portuguese championships, in 2011/12 and 2012/13.
In Juventus, there were four titles, the Italian Championship (2019/2020), the Italian Super Cup (2020) and the Italian Cup (2021/21 and 2023/24). Finally, for Rubro Negro, the Super Cup, the Carioca and the Libertadores, all in 2025.

They wore the Brazilian national team jersey and never won a tournament together. Danilo was not called up to participate in the 2019 Copa America, which was won by Alex Sandro.
