Within the framework of the Public Works and Urban Maintenance Plan, the Municipality of La Plata is progressing with the works of the new 44th Avenue, which includes replacement of slabs, repair of sidewalks, lighting tasks, reforestation and implementation of the “Green Wave”.
After launching the first part of implementation last October, which extends from 131 to 149, work has progressed in recent days in Area 171 with the pouring of concrete.
Moreover, with the aim of improving visibility and enhancing security in the area, work is underway on the proposed value of the Route 36 roundabout, where lighting intervention with new street lights, new wiring and repair of panels has already been undertaken.
It should be noted that, within the framework of work that will facilitate traffic, improve road safety and modernize one of the most important entrances to the city, the Commune has already completed the replacement of more than 300 slabs and planted more than 25,000 dieta and 3,000 pink lapajos on the Rambla.
Moreover, thanks to the new synchronization of traffic lights, the time for entering and exiting the city has been reduced from 45 to 20 minutes, which represents a significant progress for residents.
