The Finance Ministry’s Economic Policy Secretariat calculated that Brazil’s potential GDP was 2.6% in 2024, slightly higher than the 2.5% estimated for 2023 and the 2.1% recorded in 2022. The average gap was estimated at 0.4% in 2024. The data was published in a study conducted by the ministry on Monday (1).
