UniFECAF holds National Center Meeting

On the 28th of this month, the UniFECAF Concept Campus, located in the center of Taboão da Serra, hosted the fifth edition of UniFECAF Day. Supervisors and managers from centers from different regions of the country participated in the meeting, with the aim of exchanging practices and harmonizing operations.

The opening was chaired by the Foundation’s CEO, Marcel Gama, who gave an overview of UniFECAF’s next steps and commented on trends related to digital education in Brazil. He pointed out that the institution intends to expand the provision of courses compatible with labor market requirements, with curricular matrices organized in accordance with current professional requirements. He also noted ongoing initiatives for national expansion and strengthening of practice-oriented training.

Founder Joel then addressed points related to running the centres, focusing on management, student service and retention strategies. He highlighted the importance of agile processes and procedures that are aligned with student needs, in addition to continuous improvement principles, such as using feedback and reducing operational failures.

The Human Resources area introduced the Salesperson Selection Guide and Profile Guide, which was created to standardize the recruitment stages and assist managers in selecting professionals. The subject covers aspects such as social and emotional skills, institutional profile and technical skills.

Vice President of Operations, Diego Braga, discussed the business objectives for the coming periods and emphasized the need for alignment between centers, supervisors and headquarters. He stressed that goals are monitored regularly and that performance is linked to speed of implementation, course correction and continuous communication.

The program also included a talk show with Rocketseat. CEO Issa presented trends in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital automation and explained how these skills have gained importance in various sectors. She stressed that training is not limited to technology specialists, allowing people from different fields to prepare for market shifts.

The event concluded with the participation of internal leaders and representatives of the centers, who stressed the importance of direct meetings to harmonize procedures and exchange experiences.

The Education Distance (EaD) scenario was also addressed during the programme. According to research by CRM Educacional, the number of distance learning centers in Brazil has increased from 15,400 to 46,600 in recent years, reflecting the expansion of method and increase in course offering. This growth, which intensified during the pandemic, has affected academic and operational operations at educational institutions across the country.
