The national leadership of the Social Democratic Party has decided to stay away, at least for the time being, from the confusion caused by Michel Bolsonaro’s criticism of the Liberal Party’s approach to Ciro Gomez in Ceará.
According to PSDB leaders interviewed by Column Under Custody, the situation in the state is, so far, being managed by Tokana district leaders, without involvement from the national leadership.

By not getting involved in the battle, the leaders of the National Social Democratic Party are trying, once again, to avoid the “nationalization” of Siro. The former minister’s shortcut plans only foresee a run for governor of Ceará.
Michel’s criticism of Ciro Gomez
The complicated situation began on Sunday (30/11), when the wife of former President Jair Bolsonaro traveled to Fortaleza to participate in the launch of the pre-nomination of Senator Eduardo Girão (Novo-CE) for the Ceará government.
Speaking at the event, Michele, who has her own political ambitions, expressed her support for Jirao and criticized the Cerro support agreement championed by Hizb ut-Tahrir leaders in Ceará, such as federal MP Andre Fernandez.

The speech sparked a reaction from Bolsonaro’s people. In the column, Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-CE) — a self-proclaimed interlocutor of his father in prison — said his stepmother’s statement was “tyrannical and embarrassing.”
Jair Bolsonaro’s eldest son told the article: “Michelle ran over President Bolsonaro himself, who allowed the movement of Rep. Andre Fernandez in Ceara. The way she addressed him, who is perhaps our greatest local leader, was authoritarian and embarrassing.”
