With a 20-point lead over Venezuelan Roslandy Acosta, Cisse Bauru defeated Sancor Maringa in three sets to nil – partial scores 25-21, 25-19, 25-22 -, on Monday night, at the Chico Neto Gymnasium, in Maringa (PR), in the eighth round of the 2025/26 Women’s Volleyball Premier League.

With this result, Cisse Bauru rose from sixth place to fifth place with 17 points, ahead of Fluminense in the standings, and one point ahead of Dentil Praia Clube, the first team in the G4 category. Maringa remained in ninth place with 6 points. See the full rating below.
Maringa and Cissé Bauru will play again next Friday (12/5). Parana will face Reinassi Sorocaba, at 6:30pm, in São Paulo, and Cisse will play undefeated CSEC RG Flamengo at 9pm, at Paulo Scaf Gym, in Bauru (SP).
Acosta was the top scorer of the game and won the VivaVôlei Cup. Versus Jack was Marenga’s highlight with 16 hits. Cisse scored 54 points in attack, 4 on blocks, 6 on serve and committed 13 errors in total (9 on serve and 4 on attack). Team Paraná had 46 attack points, 3 blocks and 3 serves, and gave up 17 points to Cisse (9 attacks, 8 serves).
Marenga ended up winning the third set by five points and was 22-20 on the scoreboard, but ended up taking five straight points and losing the match 3-0.
