Last Thursday was the starting signal for Stranger Things 5the final season of one of Netflix’s main series that, for almost a decade, transported us to the eighties to experience a supernatural story full of nostalgic touches.
This first volume presented four of the final episodes, half of the season, but volume 2 remains, which arrives in December 26th at dawn with three other chapters, and the final episode, volume 3, which premieres in January 1, 2026 (both dates for Spain).

There is still a lot to discover about the fate that awaits the characters, but two photos from filming Stranger Things predicted what’s to come for two of the most popular characters. Naturally, if you don’t want to know anything, it’s best to stop reading now.
Through Twitter (X), some photos from the filming of Stranger Things show to Jim Hopper (David Porto) and Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) downtown chat Hawkins. The first thing that catches your eye is that Hopper is wearing his police chief uniform, which he hasn’t worn since season 3.
What will happen at the end of Stranger Things?
While the Flashback option is the first thing that comes to mind, Mike’s age, with Wolfhard at his current age, and the fact that the theater marquee advertises Indiana Jones and the Last Crusadereleased in 1989, two years after the events of Stranger Things 5rules out this possibility.
Another option being considered is that the two are talking about what happened years ago, which raises concern about the fate of Once (Milly Bobby Brown), as she is the character that brings the two together.
It could also be a false vision generated by Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) and therefore what we are seeing on screen is not real.
It’s easy for a protagonist of Stranger Things sacrifices herself to defeat Vecna before the series comes to an end, and the fact that she’s Eleven isn’t too strange given the character’s tendencies, impulsiveness, and recklessness.
In a month we will know the answers to these unknowns that make up the final episodes of Stranger Things gain an extra layer of mystery before your arrival at Netflix at the end of December.
