In its original incarnation, in the first half of the 1980s, “Jazz Na Catacomba” promoted several free shows in the park on Sundays. Big names from the Brazilian music scene performed there, such as Paulo Moura, Leo Gandelman, Marcos Ariel, Márcio Montaroyos, Ricky Pantoja, Mauro Sinis, and the bands Cama de Gato and Azimuth. The most prominent event was the show presented by American Stanley Jordan in 1986, which gathered 12,000 people. The project was then closed because the park was not equipped to receive such a large number of people.
Catacomb Park is located on St. Epitacio Pessoa 3,000.
