A robbery attempt ended with a rush and mobilization of residents on Sunday afternoon (11/30), in the Cidade Alta neighborhood, in Cuiabá (MT).
The column gained access to a video showing the moment in which resident civilian police officer Glaucia Cristina Mora Alt, 49, pulled out a firearm and ordered a man to immediately get off the roof of her house.

According to the police report, she had just surprised the suspect walking on the tiles when she decided to act.
The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Orio Ramos Machado.
“Get down now!”
According to the resident’s own report to police, Glausia noticed movement on the roof and thought it was an attempted robbery, so he grabbed his gun and began yelling for the man to come down.
The neighbors quickly left the house and surrounded the area, trying to prevent him from escaping.
Trapped, the man ended up jumping off the roof. Shortly after, residents stopped him until the military police arrived.
Two houses damaged
The Prime Minister recorded that the suspect not only passed Glaucia’s house, but also went past the neighboring properties. During the trip, he broke several tiles in the two residences, which constitutes the crime of damage.
The police confiscated a wallet, ID and a cell phone with a damaged screen from the suspect.
Medical care
Before being transferred to the Tabligh Centre, the man was transferred to Verdão UPA, where he received treatment and had stitches placed on his chin.
The injuries, according to the victims, were the result of his falling from the roof when he jumped trying to escape.
The Prime Minister also reported that the suspect left a silver Ford Fiesta parked at the Isim Tocantins gym, a few meters away.
The man was charged with attempted theft, trespassing, and damaging property.
