There are signs of a serious deviation in the actions of the National Department of Drought Control Actions (Dnocs), Minister of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) Flavio Dino stated in an order on Tuesday morning (12/2). After the federal police operation, the judge spoke about the deviation of the parliamentary amendments.
Dino, who is the rapporteur of operations related to parliamentary amendments in the authority, said that the operation, which was authorized by the court and launched last week, targeted fraud in paving contracts and revealed a scenario of overbilling, lack of services, forged documents and serious oversight failures within the authority.
According to him, the items collected by investigators, which were added to the audits conducted by the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU), point to a possible “distortion” of Dnocs, which was going to start carrying out work outside its institutional mission stimulated by the flow of parliamentary amendments.
Given the situation, Dino decided that the National Congress, the Executive and the parties involved in the Afghan Democratic Police Forces being processed by the SAF would speak out about the irregularities reported by the National Front and the CGUs.
Investigations
As revealed Capitals In Meryl Pinheiro’s column, the group targeted by last week’s search and seizure acted in a coordinated manner: Dnocs servers allowed companies winning contracts to submit unrealistic measurements, attesting to work that did not exist or was far from complete. In return, according to the National Front, undue financial benefits will be paid.
The scheme was only revealed after the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU) data was matched with field checks, which revealed discrepancies between what was paid and what was actually implemented.
