The leader of Al Qaeda in Spain financed the terrorist organization through retail drug sales

Dionis, 24, the leader of the cell in Spain of the extremist terrorist network The Base, was receiving funding from the international organization and was in turn financing its activity in Spain through drug trafficking. Drugs – marijuana and cocaine – on a small scale.

This is what National Court Judge Antonio Peña stated in his order in which he approved his imprisonment without bail, in which he also explains that David Dionis Gandia was in direct contact with the international leader of the terrorist organization (Reynaldo Nazzaro) – “as he himself stated,” says the judge – which indicates his adherence to the aims and purposes of the organization.

The judge explained that the order sought “to establish cells called the ‘rebel unit’, which, through cover-ups and security measures, will carry out selective attacks to destabilize the states in which they are located.”

It also indicates that the leader in Spain was carrying out a continuous process of recruitment and indoctrination in his “al-Qaeda” ideological postulates, “in his hateful, extremist, and violent ideology,” and in his goals and propaganda for “accelerationist postulates.” In this sense, it stands out that he also taught other members how to obtain and handle weapons, taught melee combat techniques, and, in general, gave voice to “preparatory and survivalist theories” with a radical and violent background through which he pursued what the organization called “the struggle for white separatism.”

Weapons on public roads

The judge points out in his order that during the investigation conducted by the Police Public Information Commission, it was found that the Dionis network not only stored weapons “but was observed to persist in carrying and using them on public roads, which represents a serious danger to security in addition to its extremism and violence.” In fact, the leader of this terrorist cell is reportedly involved in multiple acts of violence.

Having established this, the judge explains that the dominant role played by Dionysus in the criminal organisation, coupled with the punishment that can be imposed for the crime charged, “necessitates that the risk of being subtracted from the operation of justice” remains despite its roots.

On the other hand, she argues, there is also a risk of criminal recidivism based on previous arrests for violent crimes and hate crimes, especially when knives and gas weapons are seized and a “worsening white nationalist supremacy doctrine” is confirmed. Finally, he argues that if he were released, he could change the sources of evidence “given the hierarchical nature of the criminal organization and his priority role within it.”

According to Pablo Muñoz, Al Qaeda was born in the United States, where it has grown significantly in recent years, at the same pace as its attacks. It is a racist and “accelerationist” organization. That is, they consider that immigration and multiculturalism are what caused the decline of the West, so what must be done is to bring about its end with attacks that cause chaos in our societies. They want, in short, to create a white “ethnic state.”

It was last week when the three Spaniards arrested – including Dionis – in Castellón for crimes of belonging to a terrorist organization, recruitment, indoctrination and training for terrorist purposes, as well as illegal possession of weapons, were brought before the National Court.
