On Saturday (6), the USP Symphony Orchestra (Osusp) and the ECA/USP Chamber Orchestra (Ocam) will perform a special Christmas concert in the hall of the International Propagation Center of the University of São Paulo (USP), at 4 p.m.
The show is free, subject to reservations, and invites the public to donate a new toy or 1 kg of non-perishable food items, to be donated to families in situations of social vulnerability.
The show combines new arrangements and repertoire dedicated to Brazilian music, conducted by Tobias Volkmann, president of Osusp, and Ricardo Bologna, artistic director of Ocam. Singer Vanessa Moreno, nominated for a 2023 Latin Grammy, and double guitarist Fi Maróstica participate as soloists.
