The target of daily complaints from residents of Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Avenida Gilka Machado, began to be activated on Tuesday (2), with the work of several public bodies coordinated by the Barra da Tijuca City Council. The task force brings together agents from Comlurb, Fundação Parques e Jardins, RioLuz, the Municipal Guard, the Municipal Secretariat of Public Order, the Coordination of Urban Surveillance, the Municipal Secretariat of Conservation and the Military Police.

According to Deputy Mayor Leandro Márquez, the measure will continue in the coming days, and is part of a package of urban rehabilitation measures in the region.
