Michele moves the pieces for her ally in Ciara and cries and prays with Flavio

The reconciliation between former First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro (PL) and her stepson Flavio Bolsonaro (PL), during a meeting at the party headquarters on Tuesday in Brasilia, included an apology and moments of tears and prayer between the two, after a family feud resulting from hostile positions regarding support for Ceará’s government.

What happened after the match was considered a victory for Michel, as the league stopped dialogues with Ciro Gomez (PSDB) in the state.

Michele was supported by her husband, former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), during Flavio’s visit hours ago to the Federal Police Control Headquarters, where he remains detained. He told his son that he would not accept a conspiracy against his wife.

Flavio apologized to his stepmother and heard that she did not want to be publicly disowned by Bolsonaro’s children again. According to Flavio, the two hugged and prayed. According to those present, Flavio started crying at this moment.

However, Michele also issued messages for Ceara’s political game: she stated that from now on, she would be replaced in PL Mulhaur’s agendas by Deputy Priscilla Costa (CE), the current Vice-President of the party’s women’s wing.

Michelle aims to strengthen Priscilla’s name as her candidate for the party’s Senate in the state and not allow Bolsonaro’s sons to advance in local negotiations without informing her.

Part of the party’s state handbook champions Priscilla’s name as a “vote magnet” for the chamber in 2026 – something Michelle refutes.

Michelle defended the woman’s name before the state Senate, and also spoke out against the alliance with Cerro.

By appointing Priscilla as her state spokesperson, the former first lady is automatically boosting her ally’s votes and creating a “crossroads” for anyone with other plans to get the ticket.

– We talked, I understood the First Lady’s point of view and we understood each other. We embraced, prayed and lamented the conditions under which Jair Bolsonaro is imprisoned in the National Front. Flavio said: This is the past.

The party suspends the alliance with Siro

After the public fighting between the former first lady and Bolsonaro’s sons, the alliance created in Ceara was suspended so that Bolsonaro’s supporters could support a possible candidacy of Ciro Gomez to the government.

At a meeting held on Tuesday in Brasilia, it was agreed that the party would look for another name, because Ciro did not satisfy all wings of the family.

The decision was approved by Bolsonaro at a meeting with Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) on Tuesday, at the Federal Police Supervision Authority, in Brasilia, where he is serving his sentence. After being part of a coordinated attack with his brothers, Flavio said in the morning that he had apologized to Michele.

Now, he says, the former first lady still has the power to take office, as long as she aligns with the clan and has the approval of the head of the family. It was up to Congressman Andre Fernández (CE), who formed an alliance of Bolsonaro supporters with Ciro in his state, to make this announcement:

— We have made progress in these terms, trying, yes, to create a coalition there, a combination to defeat the Workers’ Party in the state of Ceará. President Bolsonaro has always known this (about the alliance with Ciro). There was, as I said, communications noise. I will continue to fight for the state of Ceará to free itself from the clutches of the Workers’ Party, until it wakes up. – Fernandez said.

Flavio said the family feud “is becoming a thing of the past.”

-I think we are taking an important step here in maturing and showing maturity. Michelle is part of the hard core here in the party that will make the decisions, because she has a very clear position, very transparent, very honest and she has the vision that, as someone who has traveled all over Brazil, she can collaborate a lot so that we can make the right decisions in every state. What happened was a buzz of communication and everyone wanted to do it right – concluded Flavio.
