News in Dana’s case. Salome Pradas, according to sources close to the former chancellor, will soon hand over to the investigating judge the WhatsApp messages that were exchanged with then-President Carlos Mazón on October 29, 2024, the day of the catastrophic damage that left 230 people dead.
Pradas kept several messages with Mazzone throughout the morning of Aldana, as he reported in the interview he gave to the program “Salvados” on La Sexta.
Unlike their calls, which are recorded in a documentary record delivered to the judge, messages from the popular messaging app were not included in the proceeding.
After the program was broadcast, the investigating judge offered Salome Pradas’ defense the possibility of voluntarily contributing WhatsApp messages. The option that Prada’s lawyers will accept.
The judge argued that the letters were “connected” to Aldana and “to the facts that are the subject of this action.”
