A serious accident occurred this afternoon in the La Loma neighborhood, resulting in the death of a driver. This happened at the intersection of Diagonal 73 and 28 when he lost control of his car.
A 911 call alerted Patrol Command personnel to an accident at the corner intersection. Upon their arrival, they noticed the scene: a man lying on the public road “suffering from shortness of breath.”
As police sources confirmed, the driver was driving his Renault Megane Coupe when he lost control and collided with a light pole. It is not yet known how he was taken out of the car and lay on the ground, showing only a few vital signs.
CPR maneuvers were performed on him for more than 30 minutes until the SAME crew was able to revive him. He was then transferred to Guneet Hospital, where he is in emergency condition. The cause was “injuries resulting from an accident,” and the causes of the accident are being investigated.
