Skema Business School has partnered with Centro Universitário Belas Artes to start its activities in the city of São Paulo. In Brazil, the institution already has a campus in Belo Horizonte.
Under the agreement, students will be able to start their university studies at the Bellas Artes campus, in the Paraiso neighborhood, in the southern region, complete their training at one of the international universities in Sachema, and obtain two diplomas – one Brazilian and one international.
“This partnership reinforces SKEMA’s ambition to remain a truly ‘local’ school,” says Alice Guilhon, Dean and CEO of the French College. “By combining our global, multi-campus approach with the excellence and creativity of Belas Artes, a recognized institution in Brazil, we offer Brazilian students a unique gateway to the world.”
The first semester of the new São Paulo unit is scheduled to begin in 2027, with the entrance examination to begin in August 2026. The institution’s initial course will be the Bachelor of Management/Global Bachelor of Business Administration.
The institution selection process is based on four stages, with an assessment and interview stage in English, school curriculum analysis, writing and dynamics. All classes will be taught in English.
Located in the state capital of Minas Gerais, the college offers undergraduate, graduate and executive education. The institution’s model allows students to study the first two years in Brazil and complete their training at one of Skema’s units in other countries, while paying the same monthly fees as in Brazil.
Although SKIMA is already present in the country, the Campus Director in Brazil, Gustavo Hoffmann, highlights the importance of access to São Paulo, mainly due to the academic and professional opportunities the city offers.
“Allowing students to move between universities such as Barcelona, Belo Horizonte, Dubai, Lille, Nanjing, Raleigh or Sophia Antipolis and pay in reals represents a major change in the higher education scenario in São Paulo,” says Hoffman.
