Madrid, December 4 (European Press) –
The US State Department has reported that the visas of executives and senior officials of a Mexican transportation company have been revoked for allegedly contributing to illegal immigration into US territory, so they will not be able to travel to the country.
“These measures apply to employees of a transportation company based in Mexico that provided travel services designed, primarily, for foreigners who had the idea of traveling illegally to the United States,” the State Department said in a statement that did not identify the company.
He explained that the measures were adopted within the framework of US immigration law, which “prohibits the entry or activities” of those whose “actions may have negative consequences for US foreign policy.”
“Investigations indicate that individuals were organizing the transfer of aliens, including minors, from the Caribbean and other regions to transit points in Central America, where many later attempted to enter the United States,” the text of the letter stated.
“We will not tolerate any attempt to undermine national security or US immigration laws and will ensure that those who benefit from these actions face consequences,” he concluded.
