GDP: Gross fixed capital formation rises by 0.9% in the third quarter compared to the second quarter | Brazil

A measure of investments within GDP, gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) rose 0.9% in the third quarter, compared to the second quarter, according to data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).

The reading was higher than the average forecast I had compiled valueWhich indicated a growth in investments by 0.7% compared to the immediately preceding quarter.

Compared to the third quarter of 2024, gross fixed capital formation rose by 2.3%, according to IBGE data. Average projection by value Growth was 2% in this case.
