Since filming began on All’s Fair, which premiered last week on Disney+, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash-Bates have faced something unprecedented in their careers: cameras following them on a reality show. And not just any reality show: simply “The Kardashians” (also on Disney+), one of the most exciting shows of its kind, which follows the family life of influencer, aspiring lawyer and now actress Kim Kardashian, one of the protagonists of screenwriter Ryan Murphy’s new drama.

The Kardashians spent just over 24 hours in Rio to promote the series, and followed them through key moments of the trip, from the red carpet for a party at Copacabana Palace to a visit to Christ the Redeemer. They ensure that nothing bothers Sarah or Naomi.
– I didn’t find it particularly invasive. I thought it was kind of cute, you know? -Sarah told GLOBO. – I was one of the people who watched “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” in the beginning, when the show came out, and then I ended up stopping watching it for various reasons. It was a unique experience to be filming a series and, at the same time, participating in a reality show, and recording a little bit of it as well. We had a really fun night together which the cameras captured. There were a lot of martinis, fortunately or unfortunately.
Unlike Sarah, Naomi was unfamiliar with Kim’s show, which began in 2007 as “Keeping up the Kardashians” and aired for 20 seasons, through 2021, on E! channel. Since 2022, the influencer, her mother (Kris Jenner, one of the executive producers of the series “All’s Fair”) and her sisters have starred in the film “The Kardashians”, similar to the previous production, but now on Disney +.
– I haven’t seen it and I haven’t watched any episode yet – said the English lady, who was twice nominated for an Oscar. – But the presence of cameras did not break the concentration or the fun. It felt natural.
Kim graduated in law and is trying to register professionally to practice law in the United States, and has only acted before All’s Fair once, in the twelfth season of American Horror Story: Delicate, also written by Ryan Murphy. In the new series, the influential character plays the role of a lawyer specializing in divorce cases, who opens a company with her colleagues (Naomi and Nancy) after she is tired of the masculinity of her previous job.
– I was really touched, on the first day, to see the dedication she showed to her work – said Sarah, who also plays a lawyer, but from a competing firm. -She has proven many times that she is a very hardworking person. When she finds something she wants to devote herself to, she does so with complete elegance and dignity. On set, there she was, memorizing pages and pages of monologues and dealing with several other things at the same time. She multitasks to an abnormal degree. And without sweating a drop.
