The government wants to approve regulations for work via applications – 04/12/2025 – Brasilia Hogi

The Minister of the Public Secretariat, Guilherme Boulos, announced today, Thursday (4), the establishment of a working group to discuss the demands of those working in the application. According to him, the goal is for the proposal, which is being processed in Congress, to be approved and approved before the electoral period.

“We will hold meetings as soon as possible to try to conclude this group with some unified consensus between the end of January and the beginning of February,” Boulos said.

“Our view regarding participation, including the parliamentarians leading this in the working group itself, is that the results of the group will be incorporated as amendments to the project throughout the process, whether in the Chamber of Deputies or the Senate, and that we can make a concentrated effort to approve it in both chambers and guarantee the approval of President Lula between March and April, before entering the electoral period of course.

This is the second working group created to address this issue. Now, under Polis’ leadership, the Secretariat has signed the decree establishing the new GT, and is working alongside the Ministry of Labor to address the agenda – one of Lula’s 2022 campaign promises.

In the announcement made in Planalto, representatives of the group spoke about the demands after the Minister’s presentation, where they referred to the promise of the Workers’ Party member and demanded progress on the issue.

Today, the organization of labor by application is banned in the Chamber, under the supervision of the Rapporteur of the Federal Representative Augusto Coutinho (Republicanos-PE).

“We will call a first meeting of the working group later this year,” Boulos said. “The report is scheduled to be presented next week.”

According to the Minister, important points for this category have already been raised and discussed with Rapporteur Augusto Coutinho, and that the issues should be included in the final text.
