This Christmas, you can enjoy a wide range of activities in Madrid: from 5 to 7 December, Pop Up Chic presents a fashion and decor market at the Palace Hotel with more than 30 companies and free entry; On the sixth and seventh days, the nave of the church Villaverde hosts a video game show. The first edition of the Madrid Video Games Fair arrives

On December 6 and 7, La Nave de Villaverde will host the first edition of the Madrid Video Game Fair, an event that will bring together the past, present and future of video games in more than 6,000 square meters dedicated to this culture.

The public will be able to play classic and current games in a large area containing more than 200 consoles and arcade games, in addition to visiting a museum that traces the history of video games from Pong to Minecraft. The exhibition will include training talks with leading figures in video game development and journalism in Spain, along with workshops, tournaments, concerts, live broadcast recordings and an exhibitor area, where studios will showcase their latest projects and interact with attendees.

Madrid’s fashion and decor market, Pop Up Chic, is celebrating its Christmas edition at the famous Palace Hotel. More than 30 decor, fashion, accessories and jewelry brands will come together to offer a wide range of products perfect for finding the perfect gift this holiday season. This Christmas market can be visited over three days (Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm) and is a unique opportunity to discover the latest trends and designs.

Enjoy the 2nd International Festival of Organ and Sacred Music

On Saturday, December 6, at 7:00 p.m., the Real Oratorio del Caballero de Gracia will host the 2nd Spanish-Dutch Organ and Sacred Music Festival with a concert by organist Victor Perea at the Real Oratorio del Caballero de Gracia, which will officially open a week full of proposals.

The Music Hall cycle returns to Ifema

Until December 20, Ifema will host the Music Hall Series, a calendar of events that will transform Pavilion 3 of the fairgrounds into the most scenic and sought-after festive venue in the Spanish capital. Preparations are already underway to host about 35,000 spectators attracted by a very diverse proposal: from electronic festivals and reggaeton parties to influential parties and rock sessions for young and old. Gran Canaria artist Lucho RK, one of the most promising emerging voices on the urban scene in Spain, will open the music series on Saturday 6 December at the famous venue.

Travel to the world of strange things

From November 27 to December 13, Netflix presents at Espacio Movistar an immersive ride that takes you into the world of Stranger Things, one of the most famous science fiction series of all time. This experience recreates the iconic landscapes and settings from the series, inviting you to tour its most iconic locations and experience being transported to the Upside Down Dimension firsthand. In this experience, several live actors accompany the visitor during the tour, directing the story and testing the courage, ingenuity and ability to face the dangers inherent in this parallel world.

Learn about modernism through an immersive exhibition

From December 5 to January 6, 2026, the Nomad Museo Immersivo space offers a new experience that brings together the most influential artistic movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries: Impressionism, Pointillism, Post-Impressionism, Cubism and Expressionism. The exhibition allows you to walk through Modernism, which emerged as a revolutionary movement that changed the way artistic creation was conceived. It is divided into eight chapters, each dedicated to a different artistic movement, displayed on huge screens. Over the course of forty minutes, audiences can immerse themselves in a world where masterpieces come to life through the power of image and music.

Visit the Community of Madrid Handicraft Fair

At its 38th edition, the Community of Madrid Crafts Fair will continue to consolidate its position as the most important fair for artisanal gifts and as the main fair for regional crafts. The fair takes place during December on Paseo de Recoletos, between Colon and Cibeles, and is attended by about 130 workshops. Artisanal workshops from the Community of Madrid will participate, although there will be representatives from other autonomous communities, who will offer their own products for sale. Workshops that contribute, with their typical craftsmanship and specificities, to making this obligatory handicraft event a reference in our country.

The new work of Sara Merida arrives in Madrid

Sara Mérida writes and directs a work based on the novel of the same name by Carmen Kurtz, about finding hope in times of pain and transformation. The play can be seen at Teatro Español from November 27 to December 14, from Thursday to Sunday.

Interpreted by actresses Rebeca Hernando and Ainara Orgaz, the show tells the story of Pilar, a young woman from Barcelona at the beginning of the twentieth century, whose existence is irrevocably changed by the outbreak of war. In this turbulent scenario, Pilar is forced to mature at an accelerated pace, confronting the painful reality of absent love and the constant presence of loss.
