Geoff Keighley reaches an agreement with Amazon so that The Game Awards 2025 can be broadcast live on the Prime Video platform on December 11th.
Only one month left until the celebration of The Game Awards 2025the most important event of the year in video games. Once again, Geoff Keighley will act as master of ceremonies, revealing the best games of 2025 overall and in each category.
Additionally, the Game Awards will also reveal new games, collaborations, and even music events. For example, it is already confirmed that the cast of precipitation will be on stage.
The Game Awards 2025 can be watched live below Thursday, December 11th from the official YouTube and Twitch channels, as always, with wide coverage on social media (from Twitter/X to TikTok) throughout the night.
For the first time since the creation of these awards in 2014, the gala presented by Geoff Keighley can be watched live on the Amazon Prime Video platform.

”The good news is that this is complementary and we will be able to continue streaming the show on all the platforms where we already stream it. Plus, we’ve added Prime Video as a partner, which we’re really excited about” says Geoff Keighley in an interview with Variety.
The Game Awards 2025 will air on Prime Video
After a 2024 edition that exceeded 154 million live views, and with news as notable as the jump of The Game Awards to bookmakers, it is now official that the video game event will also be broadcast on Prime Video.
Geoff Keighley and Amazon reached an agreement after months of negotiationsso that The Game Awards 2025 can be seen on YouTube, Twitch and also on Prime Video from any compatible device.
”It’s important that people know that this doesn’t change our program at all. We continue doing the same program. I come from the television world, where there were television people who had their say on what we wanted the show to be. This is still The Game Awards”.
As a result of this collaboration, Amazon will launch a store exclusively dedicated to The Game Awards productsincluding discounts on games, consoles and hardware or merchandise for Prime Video subscribers.
Another notable novelty is that, for the first time, The Game Awards will be streamed in 1440p (2K) resolution on Twitchso that content creators can share the broadcast under the best possible conditions.
It will also include a Twitch Drops Campaignwhich will reward viewers who watch 30 minutes or more of the event with Exclusive game content and a special TGA badge for chat.
The Game Awards 2025 will be held on December 11th around midnight (in Spain it will be December 12th) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and can be seen live on the official YouTube channels, Twitch and also on Amazon’s Prime Video platform.
