
This initiative is the result of a partnership between Vasco da Gama, the Craque do Ajante Project and the Nova União Academy, and was made possible thanks to the government’s Sports Incentives Law, with the support of Light. The proposal goes beyond sports: students would receive uniforms, daily snacks and monthly food baskets, as well as tutoring, educational support and psychological assistance.
For former UFC fighter Leo Santos, president of Nova União, seeing the project take shape feels like an accomplishment.

Classes preferably target youth between the ages of 7 and 17 years old enrolled in public schools and residing in the areas surrounding the stadium.
