In an interview with CNN, the influencer said her addiction appeared before her fame, but was exacerbated by the fast pace of social media. She reported that reporting a relationship with alcohol and other drugs at work was a difficult process.
He pointed out, “Sometimes we look at substances as a way to fill some internal pain… It all started before fame, and then it intensified.”
Vanessa also explained that she wrote the book with the support of a professional responsible for helping her organize memories and build a psychological approach to the narrative. According to the young woman, the goal is to reach people who are facing emotional suffering.
“We came to the conclusion that writing a book would be the best way… and we also wanted to explain the science side, with the psychology and everything else,” he explained.
