However, it was not an episode of betrayal. According to the businesswoman, a few years ago they both decided to take a break, and during that gap Lauro became pregnant with another woman.
He said: “I can’t blame her, because we weren’t together. I know she followed him on Instagram and didn’t have any pictures of me. We weren’t really together. So, she’s not responsible for anything, she wasn’t lucky enough to meet that guy. The guy was already married and went back to his wife (from his previous marriage).”
Eduarda says she did not discover the situation until two years after the baby was born, and while she was in her second pregnancy with Lauro. She joked: “When my daughter was two and a half months old, we separated, and two years later she became pregnant again, and soon after I discovered that this separation came with a gift.”
The businesswoman says that she was very ashamed about the issue until she told the story on her networks. She added: “I see myself today as a great woman because she went through everything, was able to look with love, forgave my husband, and enjoyed a very enjoyable life with him.”

Doda emphasized that despite everything, her relationship with the other woman was always respectful from the beginning. Nowadays, they are even friends. “She is a person I see as good, and she is a person I see as not wanting to get in the way of me or my marriage.”
Because of the good relationship, the businesswoman became close to the other’s son. The affection is so great that according to the businesswoman, the child calls her Auntie Doda.
“One way I found to stay close to him was through a book signing,” he said. “Whenever someone arrived, we would make a video call and say Aunt Doda gave them the gift. We would sit there talking.”
Furthermore, Eduarda also made herself available to care for the boy during the holidays. “My husband and I were going to visit him in December, but the child’s mother came to ask me: ‘What about the holidays?’ What will the holidays be like now?’ Because, even then, he was a baby, and there was no way to hold him, right? And now he’s three years old.”
She says that the child’s visit to the capital will be an opportunity for him to meet his siblings and family, and she says that she is “very excited” for this moment.
“I am very motherly, so I will be very welcoming. We are going on a trip, and even the mother was there and she asked me: ‘And when you travel, what will you do with the boy?’ I said that wherever I go, he goes with me. He added: ‘I will provide her with a lot of security so she can be at peace.’”
