Mario, who used his profile to announce what happened, wrote: “They robbed my house and held my entire family hostage!” According to an investigation by Jornal Extra, this information was confirmed by the actor’s 19-year-old son, João Palma. “They broke into my parents’ house and took everything,” the young man said.

The house, which belongs to the actor and previously served as one of his clothing factories, became his home in September last year. That’s when Mario, his wife and their youngest child settled in the property after leaving the mansion in Goa, where they had lived for 22 years.

So far, Mario has not provided any further details about the procedure, nor reported on the family’s condition following the scare.
