Current champion Brazil reveals its roster with seven remaining and promises maximum strength in the search for the double
The Brazilian Kings League team is scheduled to compete in the 2026 World Cup of Nations. The squad of 13 athletes was unveiled live on Friday (12/05), during CCXP, in São Paulo, in front of an audience that filled the pavilion dedicated to pop culture landmarks.
Coach Dodo Oliveira, along with assistants Brito and Filho Vamp, presented a group that combined experience and regularity. After all, of those called up, seven of them were part of the historic achievement in January 2025, in Italy, when Brazil lifted the trophy in the first edition of the national team tournament.
Among the names announced, the most notable is Kelvin Oliveira, K9, G3X striker. After all, in the last Kings World Cup, the player scored 19 goals, becoming the tournament’s top scorer. In fact, he alone had more goals combined than all the other participating teams. An achievement that put him in the spotlight at the presentation event.
The World Cup of Kings brings together 20 teams and will be held again in January, on Brazilian soil. In fact, the tournament takes place between January 3 and 17, with the grand final scheduled to take place at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. Moreover, Brazil is under pressure due to its status as current champions, but is also driven by the support of the fans, who have promised to fill the stands.
Finally, the country is in Group 4, alongside Spain, Peru and Qatar, in a group considered balanced. Thus, the technical committee expects to repeat the intensity that characterized the victorious 2025 campaign and take advantage of the moment of strengthening of the League of Kings in Brazil.
