Reality show fever has captured increasing attention from Brazilian viewers. Throughout the year, shows such as Big Brother Brasil (BBB), from TV Globo, and “A Farm”, from Rede Record, debuted new seasons, while other realities, such as “Minha Mãoe com meu pai”, from the streaming service Globoplay.

See below who are the winners of ten reality shows broadcast in 2025
The 25th Brazilian edition of Big Brother Brasil had dancer Renata Saldanha as the winner. She competed for overall preference with geriatric physiotherapist Guilherme Vilar and rodeo lifeguard João Pedro Siqueira, ending her participation in the program with 51.9% of the average vote. The original programme, created by John De Mol, was first broadcast in the Netherlands in 1999. The initial idea was to ensure that people were in a guarded home 24 hours a day. The reality show has been an absolute hit in Brazil and is set to premiere next year. BBB 26 starts on January 12.

Blind marriage: Brazil
Starring Eddie Torres and Edmilson Assis, Season 5 of Blind Wedding: Brasil, titled “It’s Not Too Late,” ended with just one “yes” at the altar. But the couple separated months after the wedding. The edition had six couples formed in the cabin stage, but only five progressed to the honeymoon. The program was distinguished this year because it brought together participants over the age of 50.

Black belt judoka Karol and footballer Radames were the champions of this year’s edition of the reality show “Power Couple Brasil”, winning the edition with 54.24% of the votes. The couple bested the duo formed by real estate agent Adriana and businessman Domini – winner of “Big Brother Brasil” in 2003 – as they went home with an accumulated prize of R$446,000. Created and produced by Record, the show aired from 2016 to 2022, and returns in 2025.

The first season of the reality show led by presenter Sabrina Sato revealed that four couples formed throughout the program received their children’s “blessing” to continue their relationship. On social media, the streaming service Globoplay, responsible for broadcasting the series “Mom with Dad”, shared the status of the couples: Ronasa and Olsson were “tangled together”, Alessandra and Leonardo were together, but living in different states, Cristina and Gilfandro “trying to make it work”, despite the distance, and João and Nara “close to each other”.
Lawyer Daniela Dantas defeated café owner Felipe Pozzi and became the champion of “Masterchef Brasil 2025”. With a three-course menu – oysters with moqueca sauce and cassava soufflé as a starter; Shrimp soffiatelli, hearts of palm, pink shimeji with cardinal sauce and fried shrimp as main course; and Camposi mousse with Campucci gel, pepper, arrowroot biscuits and Tangerine Supreme with chocolate for dessert – Daniela won a prize of R$500,000.

The finalist of the second season of “Masterchef conféitaria” was the winner of the dispute against the confectioner Leo Salles Ramiro Bertacin. The final test of the “Masterchef” spinoff reality show requires each contestant to prepare three desserts, each with mandatory techniques: winemaking, clear doming, and motion chocolate decorating. In addition to the permanent judges, Antonio Bashor, who has twice been elected best pastry chef in the world, participated in the first stage.

In the show’s final, Fujino, Sol and Oditi Reutemann faced each other for the title of champion and a prize of R$250,000. The winner was the character Oditi Roitman, played by actor and singer Diego Martinez. In the first round, Diego sang the song “Girls just Want to Have Fun”, a hit by Cyndi Lauper in 1983. In the second round, the song chosen by the participant is “O amor eo Poder” by Rosanna in 1987. A few months after the end of the fifth season of the reality show, TV Globo announced the cancellation of the program.
The second season of the reality show “Drag Race Brasil”, inspired by the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” competition, ended with Ruby Knox winning. The drag queen is played by actor Anderson Braz, who paraded around hugging his mother and carrying the flag of his state, Pernambuco. In addition to the crown and scepter from Amped Accessories, Anderson finished the program with a prize of R$150,000 and a year of Anastasia Beverly products. The final also featured Melina Bly, Melody Queen and Poseidon Drag.
Fazenda and the Voice of Brazil
In the program presented by Record, 26 participants from different regions – the largest number of people in custody since the first edition of the reality show – compete for a prize of R$2 million. In the competition presented by SBT and also available on the streaming service Disney+, judges Mumuzinho, Duda Beat, Péricles and country duo Matheus & Kaun divided the competitors into teams to uncover new talent. At the end of the program, the audience chooses who will win a prize of R$500,000 and a recording deal with Universal Music. The current version of the two competitions is scheduled to end next December.
